If you are looking for a fun and adventurous activity for young kids, our Discovery Courses are just what you are looking for! This self-guided activity is made for kids 5 and up that are over 45″ tall. Kids will test their balance as they explore our junior aerial courses filled with wood bridges, balance logs, net walkways, ziplines, and much more, all suspended 3-7 ft off the ground.

This activity features: 19 obstacles and 2 ziplines

For this activity adults usually cheer on their kids from the ground.

This is a great activity to boost a child’s confidence, test their balance, and build their strength, all while having heaps of fun!

The following is a list of expectations which all guests and participants are required to observe, those found to be in violation of these expectations will receive penalties up to and including temporary or permanent ban from the facilities.

BY PARTICIPATING AS EITHER A SPECTATOR OR PARTICIPANT IN FACILITY ACTIVITIES, YOU ASSUME ALL INHERENT RISK AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF DOING SO, AND THEREFORE PARTICIPATE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

• All participants must complete the appropriate ‘Release and Waiver of Liability’ prior to participation

• Participation permitted for any person meeting these conditions:

• Kids’ Course: Age 5+, Adult Course: Age 9+

• Max weight per participant not to exceed 275lbs

• Min height per participant must exceed; Kids’ course: 45”, Adult Course 55”

• Maximum waist size for harness is 52″

• Maximum thigh size is 30″

• Children under 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the release form

• Children 12 and under must have a parent/guardian follow them (from the ground is okay) throughout the course

• Tie up long hair, tuck away neckless and remove hoop/dangling earrings and all loose jewelry

• Chewing gum, tobacco and other items that could result in choking are not permitted

• Refrain from eating or drinking during participation in the zipline course

• Proper safety gear is required to be worn at all times during participation, NO PERSONAL EQUIPMENT

• Participants will be connected to safety lines at all times while on zipline course, including skybridges and platforms

• CLOSED-TOED, SECURED FOOTWEAR REQUIRED (NO SANDALS, FLIP-FLOPS, CROCS, SLIPPERS, FIVE-FINGER SHOES, LARGE HEELS, ETC.)

• PREGNANT WOMEN are expressly prohibited from going on any course

• IMPORTANT: If you have a history of seizures or epilepsy, heart problems, previously dislocated joints, back/neck/head injury, recent illness or injury, or other medical condition that could be aggravated by strenuous physical activity, you should NOT go on Treetop Trekking Miami adventure courses. YOUR SAFETY IS OUR FIRST CONCERN

• Participants will be connected to the cables at all times, while participating

• Safe riding and steering instructions will be provided prior to entering the course

• Your harness must be fitted and adjusted by an instructor

• Refrain from entering the courses until permitted by an instructor

• Read and abide by all posted signs and warnings and cooperate with facility staff

• NO abusive acts or language is permitted in the facility

• You must show respect and courtesy to others, abusive language and behavior will not be tolerated

• The facility is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property

• Make facility staff aware if you take any prescription drugs that might affect your ability to participate

• Refrain from participation while under the influence of drugs or alcohol; participation may be denied if an instructor or staff member suspects that you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol

• Anyone who has been drinking alcoholic beverages or taking medication or other substances that may affect their ability to perform on the course is prohibited from going on the course. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS IF STAFF NOTICES YOU ARE UNDER THE INFLUENCE AFTER YOU PURCHASE ADMISSION

• No refunds after safety briefing has been conducted

• We reserve the right to refuse admission to, or order off the course, anyone who disregards the safety rules or appears to our staff to be unable to safely compete the course. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS if such action is required

Explorer TREK

(Ages 9+)

Soar High
Above the jungle

Navigate under the lush canopy with many exotic animals including capybaras and iguanas. This self-guided adventure tour has you climbing on our first two aerial adventure courses, reaching heights of approximately 20-25 feet in the air.

Outfitted in a climbing harness and helmet, you will explore the jungle on suspension bridges, balance games, cable traverses, ziplines, and so much more! This is the perfect introduction to Treetop Trekking for older kids (9+) and adults.

This activity features 17 obstacles and 2 ziplines spread out over 2 separate aerial courses

Thrill-seeker TREK

(Ages 9+)

Push yourself to
Experience something amazing

Discover your true potential as you navigate aerial obstacles suspended high above the jungle floor!

This trek starts off with the 2 lower aerial courses that are part of the Explorer Trek, and then continues on to the two higher aerial courses that will really test your limits! This trek is more challenging than the Explorer Trek, but you will be rewarded with captivating views of the Miami skyline. This self-guided adventure experience reaches heights of approximately 55ft in the air.

This activity features 37 obstacles and 5 ziplines spread out over 4 aerial courses.

INSIDERS TIP: If you opt for the Explorer Trek, you can always upgrade to the Thrill-Seeker while on-site, if time allows.

PROCEDURE FOR SUDDEN WEATHER CHANGES

1. Facility staff will monitor the weather conditions before and during your event, to ensure that you have a positive and safe experience

2. If the weather conditions deteriorate to an unsafe level, all participants will be requested to exit the course and move to a safe area

3. Facility staff and management will ensure that all loose equipment is secured, and all participants are relocated safely.

NIGHT TREK

(Ages 9+)

Explore the Jungle under the moonlight

Experience nature in a whole new light as you hike, swing, and maneuver your way through the trees — with only the moon and a headlamp as your guides.

A treat for the senses, this thrilling twilight adventure will leave even the biggest adrenaline seekers breathless with excitement. This self-guided adventure tour has you climbing on our first three aerial adventure courses, reaching heights of approximately 35 feet in the air.

Outfitted in a climbing harness and helmet, you will explore the jungle on suspension bridges, balance games, cable traverses, ziplines, and so much more!

This activity provides access to 3 separate aerial courses

NIGHT TREK (AGES 9+)

Participants 9 to adult: $99 + tax

Tickets include access to the 2 lower courses and one of the upper courses :

  • Aerial course Yellow 2
  • Aerial Course Green

Reservations: Reservations are required for this activity at least 48 hours in advance, in order to gain access to the property.

Due to limited availability, no refunds/reschedules will be allowed FOR ANY REASON with the exception of weather related closings.

PRECAUTIONS

  • CAMERAS, PHONES AND VIDEO RECORDING DEVICES MUST BE SECURELY AND SAFELY AFFIXED TO THE PARTICIPANTS HEAD OR CHEST
  • EYE-WEAR MUST BE SECURELY AFFIXED WITH HEAD STRAPS


ADULT ACCOMPANIMENT

  • Minors 9-14 years old must have a participating adult climbing with them at all times.
  • All minors 18 and under must have their liability waiver signed by a parent of guardian.
  • If additional parents/companions do not want to participate, they will have to wait outside of Jungle Island (No one is allowed to follow on the ground during a Night Trek).

SELF-GUIDED EXPERIENCE

  • All activities at Treetop Trekking are unguided. Our staff will provide a safety briefing to you and your group, and help you set off on your adventure
  • Once the activity has begun, staff supervise from the ground

Zipline & Adventure Course Responsibility Code

The following is a list of expectations which all guests and participants are required to observe, those found to be in violation of these expectations will receive penalties up to and including temporary or permanent ban from the facilities.

BY PARTICIPATING AS EITHER A SPECTATOR OR PARTICIPANT IN FACILITY ACTIVITIES, YOU ASSUME ALL INHERENT RISK AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF DOING SO, AND THEREFORE PARTICIPATE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

• All participants must complete the appropriate ‘Release and Waiver of Liability’ prior to participation

• Participation permitted for any person meeting these conditions:

• Adult Course: Age 9+

• Max weight per participant not to exceed 275lbs

• Min height per participant must exceed; Adult Course 55”

• Maximum waist size for harness is 52″

• Maximum thigh size is 30″

• Children under 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the release form

• Children 9-14 must have a parent/guardian participating with them on the course

• Tie up long hair, tuck away neckless and remove hoop/dangling earrings and all loose jewelry

• Chewing gum, tobacco and other items that could result in choking are not permitted

• Refrain from eating or drinking during participation in the zipline course

• Proper safety gear is required to be worn at all times during participation, NO PERSONAL EQUIPMENT

• Participants will be connected to safety lines at all times while on zipline course, including skybridges and platforms

• CLOSED-TOED, SECURED FOOTWEAR REQUIRED (NO SANDALS, FLIP-FLOPS, CROCS, SLIPPERS, FIVE-FINGER SHOES, LARGE HEELS, ETC.)

• PREGNANT WOMEN are expressly prohibited from going on any course

• IMPORTANT: If you have a history of seizures or epilepsy, heart problems, previously dislocated joints, back/neck/head injury, recent illness or injury, or other medical condition that could be aggravated by strenuous physical activity, you should NOT go on Treetop Trekking Miami adventure courses. YOUR SAFETY IS OUR FIRST CONCERN

• Participants will be connected to the cables at all times, while participating

• Safe riding and steering instructions will be provided prior to entering the course

• Your harness must be fitted and adjusted by an instructor

• Refrain from entering the courses until permitted by an instructor

• Read and abide by all posted signs and warnings and cooperate with facility staff

• NO abusive acts or language is permitted in the facility

• You must show respect and courtesy to others, abusive language and behavior will not be tolerated

• The facility is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property

• Make facility staff aware if you take any prescription drugs that might affect your ability to participate

• Refrain from participation while under the influence of drugs or alcohol; participation may be denied if an instructor or staff member suspects that you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol

• Anyone who has been drinking alcoholic beverages or taking medication or other substances that may affect their ability to perform on the course is prohibited from going on the course. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS IF STAFF NOTICES YOU ARE UNDER THE INFLUENCE AFTER YOU PURCHASE ADMISSION

• No refunds after safety briefing has been conducted

• We reserve the right to refuse admission to, or order off the course, anyone who disregards the safety rules or appears to our staff to be unable to safely compete the course. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS if such action is required

• WEATHER NOTICE: In the event of inclement weather, all participants will be required to exit the course immediately and take shelter, please refer to the ‘Inclement Weather Procedures’ for more information.

• Typical time to complete the adult course is 2 hours

Any injuries or violations must be reported the Facility Manager, or the Manager-On-Duty, immediately.

If, for any reason, weather conditions are actively deteriorating, Treetop Trekking Miami Adventures reserves the right to close and postpone any current admission for the safety of our staff and customers.

Weather conditions are constantly changing and in the event that weather conditions become dangerous, facility staff will make an announcement that all participants must exit the course and return to the main building.
